A journey to explore your way of life, with you.

It is
While being "here and now",
Cherishing the "long-lasting path" from past to future
A time and place to find your unique way of life
"OTERA STAY" is your guide
for those who want to change their way of life on the journey of life.

Everything in this world is inherited from our ancestors,
we build upon the present, and carefully pass it on to future generations.

By shifting from the idea of "living in the present" to "living with respect for long periods of time",
your and my way of life, and the future world, will change.

We want to journey with you to explore your way of life.

About the health and happiness of ourselves, those around us, and society as a whole.
Let's connect the past, present, and future, and explore together with joy.

Sit together
Harmonize mind and body
Receive life, give thanks for life
Listen to the silence, sleep deeply
Breathe deeply in the morning sun
Touch the wisdom of our ancestors, enveloped by history and nature
An endless journey of exploration beginning with a small step

OTERA STAY for your life's journey

What is OTERA STAY?

Harmonize your mind, change your life. It's a wellness stay that connects you with Japanese spirituality.

We offer accommodation, stays, and experiences as an "inner journey" that begins in the silence where history breathes. The stage for this is temples and shrines, which are symbolic representations of Japanese spirituality, nature, and culture, and have been carefully preserved for a long time.

We deliver places and experiences to harmonize mind and body, such as meditation, zazen, sutra copying, nature walks, and shojin ryori (Buddhist vegetarian cuisine), to people all over the world. From casual one-night stays to profound experiences for re-evaluating one's life, we offer these with the local culture and stories of each region.

More than just "staying," it's about facing silence, unwinding thoughts, and creating time to reconnect with oneself. This is the spiritual wellness that OTERA STAY aims for.

Transformative Travel, sought by travelers worldwide, for you.
